Supuesta trama corrupta en la CNMV

Español:Posible caso de corrupción en el seno de la Comisión Nacional del Mercado de Valores. La CNMV ha precisado que la investigación abierta por la Unidad de Delincuencia Económica y Fiscal de la Policía (UDEF) en relación a unas posibles irregularidades se encuentra aún «en una fase muy preliminar» y se refiere «exclusivamente» a dos denuncias de los años 2005 y 2011.

Varios periódicos españoles se hacían eco de esta investigación. Según ha publicado el diario ‘El Confidencial’, la Unidad de Delitos Económicos está investigando, dentro de la “operación parqué”, si consejeros actuales y anteriores se habrían encargado de manipular la concesión y retirada de licencias para operar en el mercado español. Otro diario digital, ‘El Español’ añade que esa investigación apunta a cinco altos cargos de la CNMV cuyo patrimonio está siendo examinado con lupa con la colaboración de la actual presidenta del organismo, Elvira Rodríguez.

Preguntado por estas investigaciones, el secretario de Estado de Seguridad, Francisco Martínez, ha dicho no poder dar datos ya que la investigación está abierta y los agentes están actuando en sus funciones de Policía Judicial, por lo que su trabajo debe ser «preservado».

En un comunicado, el ente supervisor ha querido aclarar que «en ningún caso» la UDEF ha interrogado a Elvira Rodríguez en el marco de esta investigación, sino que se limitó a entregar en mano un requerimiento de información, y ha subrayado que desde la CNMT se ha colaborado «desde el primer momento» con la policía para aclarar los hechos investigados.
