Español: El presidente y portavoz del Grupo Socialista en la Diputación Provincial de Málaga, Francisco Conejo, ha exigido al equipo de gobierno la Diputación que en los próximos presupuestos aumente la partida destinada a la lucha contra la violencia de género así como un incremento de personal en el área de Igualdad.

Conejo, que ha realizado una visita al Servicio Provincial de la Mujer, situado en calle Carretería, acompañado por la viceportavoz y diputada socialista responsable del Área de Igualdad, Estefanía Merino, ha destacado también el apoyo del grupo socialista a la formación de una mesa de trabajo donde la Diputación, la Junta y el Gobierno de España, en colaboración con los ayuntamientos, luchen unidos contra la violencia machista y en pro de la igualdad.

Por otra parte, desde el Grupo Socialista han transmitido al equipo de gobierno provincial su deseo de que el edificio singular de calle Carretería, pionero espacio para las políticas de igualdad, siga siendo sede del servicio durante los próximos años, a disposición de los derechos de cualquier malagueño y malagueña.
