Así lo han comunicado en rueda de prensa el líder nacional de Ciudadanos, Albert Rivera, y el presidente y portavoz del grupo parlamentario, Juan Marín, quienes han considerado «sano» que ambas dirigentes ofrezcan explicaciones sobre lo que ha sucedido y las medidas que se han puesto para que no vuelva a ocurrir.
Albert Rivera ha dicho que «nadie duda» de que la comisión de investigación se ha celebrado gracias a Ciudadanos y ha insistido en la necesidad de que los máximos representantes políticos «den la cara» ante cuestiones de este calado recordando que no están en un banquillo, sino en una comisión parlamentaria».
En la misma línea, Juan Marín ha advertido de que la petición de comparecencia de Díaz y Báñez en esta comisión de investigación no quiere decir que sean «culpables de nada».
