La compra de nuevos AVE aumentarán la oferta de plazas un 30% con Madrid

Español: Renfe ha iniciado el proceso para la compra de quince nuevos trenes de Alta Velocidad que permitirán la renovación de la actual flota de AVE, que ya cuenta con 10 años de antigüedad en algunos casos.
El contrato, que asciende a 2.600 millones de euros, incluye la exigencia de que tengan una capacidad mínima de 400 plazas, lo que supone un incremento mínimo de entre el 11% y el 30% más que los actuales trenes que cubren la línea de Málaga con Madrid, 318 y 365 plazas, respectivamente.
Esta mayor capacidad permitirá ofrecer hasta 2.250 plazas más diarias en la línea entre Málaga y Madrid, con 25 servicios diarios atendidos por trenes AVE.
Estas cifras incrementan en un 30% la oferta actual y, por tanto, la capacidad de crecimiento de esta línea.
La entrada en servicio de estos nuevos trenes se produciría para 2019.

The contract, amounting to 2,600 million euros, includes the requirement of having a minimum seating capacity of 400, which represents a minimal increase of between 11% and 30% more than current trains that cover the line of Málaga with Madrid, 318 and 365 seats respectively.
