Español: El texto final de la Conferencia de las Partes de la Convención Marco de Cambio Climático de la ONU que se celebra en París propone un acuerdo jurídicamente vinculante, ambicioso pero realista, con objetivos revisables cada cinco años y un objetivo de limitar el calentamiento del planeta a 2 grados centígrados sin renunciar a lograr que esta cifra sea de 1,5 grados, según ha anunciado este sábado el ministro de Relaciones Exteriores de Francia, Laurent (Logán) Fabius.

El acuerdo deberá ser votado por 196 países que asisten al plenario.

Fabius ha anunciado que la propuesta de acuerdo es «jurídicamente vinculante», reconoce el concepto de justicia climática y tiene en cuenta las distintas capacidades nacionales en función de las circunstancias de cada parte y que sus objetivos serán revisables cada cinco años, para aumentar la ambición de forma progresiva.

Por su parte, el secretario general de la ONU, Ban Ki Moon, ha calificado el texto final de «histórico» porque su ambición es dar al planeta un nuevo camino hacia un futuro para reducir las emisiones y ha elogiado los compromisos y el liderazgo de los jefes de Estado y de Gobierno, de los ministros, de negociadores y de miembros de delegaciones, a quienes ha encomiado a «acabar el trabajo» porque miles de millones de personas dependen de su audacia.
