La CUP decidirá el 2 de enero sobre la investidura de Mas tras el empate en la asamblea

Español: El futuro de Artus Mas y de la situación política en Cataluña continúa en el aire. Este domingo los militantes de la CUP votaron en su asamblea y tras llegar a la tercera votación se producía un empate a exactamente 1515 votos entre los partidarios de investir a Mas y los de no hacerlo. Así las cosas, el Consejo Político del partido será el encargado de tomar una decisión el próximo 2 de enero. Recordemos que la fecha límite para lograr la investidura del presidente catalán es el 10 de enero. Si no, habrá nuevas elecciones.

Continúa así la agonía del proceso independentista catalán y de la propia figura política de Artur Mas. La dirección de la CUP aprovechó el empate para pedir a la coalición Junts pel Sí (JxS) que formule una nueva oferta política más favorable a los anticapitalistas. Junts pel Sí necesita que al menos dos diputados de la CUP voten a favor de Mas y el resto se abstenga para que el actual presidente en funciones pueda mantenerse en el poder.
