700 000 pernoctaciones en hoteles y casas rurales en Navidad

Español: La semana de navidad ha sido más que positiva para los establecimientos hoteleros andaluces ya que han alcanzado un 58 % de ocupación, lo que se traduce en casi 700.000 pernoctaciones de las que Málaga y Sevilla han sido las más beneficiadas.

Según datos arrojados por la Encuesta Puntual de Ocupación realiza por la Consejería de Turismo y Deporte de la Junta de Andalucía los hoteles y casas rurales de la comunidad han registrado durante el período del 25 al 31 de diciembre de 2015 un incremento del 7,4% de ocupación en comparación a las mismas fechas del ejercicio 2014.

De las casi 700.000 pernoctaciones, 130.000 se han producido el miércoles 31 de diciembre convirtiéndose en el día de mayor afluencia con una ocupación que ha rozado el 74% de las plazas. Por territorio, el litoral ha acumulado el 53,7% de estancias y el interior un 46,3

En que se refiere a hoteles, el número de plazas ha ascendido a casi el 60%, consiguiendo de esta forma superar las expectativas mostradas por el sector siendo el mayor registro en los últimos ocho años con un incremento de 6.8 puntos respecto a la Navidad anterior

Estudiando por provincias, Málaga y Sevilla han reflejado los mayores grados de ocupación de toda Andalucía, con un 68% respectivamente. Los establecimientos hoteleros de cuatro y cinco estrellas obtuvieron alrededor del 66%.

En lo que respecta a las casas rurales de la comunidad han sumado las cerca de 29.000 pernoctaciones, obteniendo de esta forma una ocupación media de un 34,5% superando en 3.8 puntos a este período navideño de 2014
