Español:El presidente de la Autoridad Palestina, Mahmud Abbas, ha anunciado este miércoles que la Organización para la Liberación de Palestina (OLP) decidirá la semana que viene sobre el mantenimiento de los acuerdos con Israel, entre ellos los de coordinación a nivel de seguridad.
Abbas ha reiterado así sus declaraciones en apoyo al fin de estos acuerdos, alcanzados en el marco de los Acuerdos de Oslo, debido al incumplimiento por parte de Israel de sus compromisos, según ha informado la agencia palestina de noticias Maan. Pese a las amenazas vertidas en septiembre por el mandatario palestino sobre el rechazo a estos acuerdos, aún no se han dado los pasos necesarios para cortar la coordinación existente con las autoridades israelíes. «El liderazgo palestino no permitirá que continúe el statu quo», ha agregado Abbas, reclamando de nuevo la retirada de los asentamientos establecidos en Cisjordania y Jerusalén Este desde 1967.
