Los bomberos detenidos en Lesbos retoman su actividad voluntaria tras su liberación

Español:Los tres bomberos sevillanos detenidos en la isla griega de Lesbos acusados de un delito de tráfico ilegal de personas cuando desempeñaban tareas de rescate de refugiados, quedaron finalmente en libertad tras comparecer ante el juez el pasado sábado, quien les ha impuesto una fianza de 5.000 euros a cada uno.
El presidente de la asociación Proem-Aid, José Antonio Reina, explicó que los tres bomberos detenidos «estaban eufóricos tras su liberación», y que «después de una cena junto a compañeros españoles y extranjeros que han estado apoyándolos durante estos días, volvieron a realizar su labor solidaria, con la misma dedicación y empeño».
Reina confirmó además que el relevo por parte de la citada asociación, compuesto por cinco bomberos y un patrón portuario, ya partió este domingo hacia Lesbos.
Uno de los bomberos detenidos, después de comparecer ante el juez, ha opinado que la Guardia Costera griega «quería dar un escarmiento» con las detenciones. Están acusados de tráfico ilegal de personas y hasta que no avance la investigación no sabrán si se les mantienen los cargos, castigados con hasta cuatro años de prisión.
La presidenta de la Junta de Andalucía, Susana Díaz, ha enviado «un abrazo grande» a los tres bomberos y ha celebrado que «por fin están en libertad». Igualmente, el presidente del PP andaluz, Juanma Moreno, ha expresado su «alegría total» por la liberación.

Por otro lado, el Ayuntamiento de Sevilla va a promover a principios de marzo un reconocimiento público a los Bomberos que han estado en Lesbos, coincidiendo con el patrón del Servicio de Extinción y Salvamento de la Delegación de Seguridad, Movilidad y Fiestas Mayores.
