El diputado provincial del PSOE responsable del Área de Fomento, Infraestructuras y Apoyo y Atención al municipio, Cristóbal Fernández, acompañado por la también diputada y portavoz socialista en el Ayuntamiento de Ronda, Teresa Valdenebro, destacó este martes la medida que ha conseguido el PSOE en la institución provincial para que los municipios menores de 2.000 habitantes de la provincia de Málaga, un total de 21 en en la Serranía de Ronda, queden exentos de pagar al Consorcio Provincial de Bomberos.

Concretamente, estos municipios de la comarca rondeña ahorrarán al año un total de 140.000 euros gracias a un acuerdo como consecuencia de la moción presentada por el Grupo Socialista de la Diputación el pasado mes de octubre y gracias a la negativa adoptada en Junta General por parte de los alcaldes y alcaldesas socialistas para incrementar las aportaciones económicas en el presente año.

De esta manera, Fernández explicó que se ha producido un acuerdo en el último Consejo de Dirección del Consorcio Provincial de Bomberos que ha determinado la eliminación de la aportación económica de los municipios menores de 2.000 habitantes en la provincia de Málaga, pagos que en este año ya asumirá la propia Diputación.
