El secretario general de Podemos, Pablo Iglesias, ha avisado este viernes directamente al PSOE de que si no «cede» y acepta explorar la posibilidad de formar un gobierno de coalición progresista, «no quedará más remedio que ir a elecciones», un escenario al que la formación morada no teme pero que no desea, según ha explicado.

Iglesias ha defendido que desde su partido ya han manifestado que están dispuestos a «ceder» para evitar ese escenario, y ha apelado tanto al PSOE como a Ciudadanos a hacer lo mismo, ya que si persisten en su acuerdo que llevó a la investidura fallida, Podemos volverá a votar ‘no’.

Por otro lado, ha vuelto a criticar las formas y el tono que ha adoptado el partido de Albert Rivera en las últimas horas y ha advertido de que «no es momento de maximalismos sino de ceder», sobre todo teniendo en cuenta que «Ciudadanos es la quinta fuerza en Cataluña y la cuarta en España».
