Málaga 24h TV – Llevar pasajeros en el coche reduce las infracciones al volante

Un estudio publicado en la revista de Elsevier ‘Transportation Research’ demuestra que llevar pasajeros en el coche reduce los comportamientos de riesgo al volante. Además, determina que los conductores viajan solos, cometen más infracciones de tráfico que los que van acompañados.

Este comportamiento, según apunta el estudio, mejora más cuando los que van en el coche son niños, ya sean hijos de los conductores o no. Sin embargo, hay una excepción a esta tendencia: la observada en el grupo de los conductores más jóvenes, entre los 17 y los 25 años, que cometen más infracciones y conducen peor cuando se encuentran acompañados por pasajeros de la misma franja de edad.

Para este trabajo, realizado por investigadores de la Universidad de Ramat-Gan en Israel, se observó el comportamiento al volante de 1.008 conductores de los cuales 342 eran mujeres y 666 eran varones.

This behavior, notes the study, more improvement when going in the car are children, whether children or not drivers. However, there is an exception to this trend observed in the group of younger drivers between 17 and 25 who commit more offenses and drive worse when they are accompanied by passengers of the same age.
