Málaga 24h TV – Cameron viajará a Gibraltar para defender la continuidad en la UE

El primer ministro de Reino Unido, David Cameron, viaja este jueves a Gibraltar para participar en un acto en favor de la continuidad del país en la Unión Europea. Se trata de la primera visita al Peñón de un jefe de Gobierno británico desde 1968.

Cameron participa en un acto a las cinco de la tarde junto al ministro principal gibraltareño, Fabian Picardo, quien ha advertido en numerosas ocasiones de los riesgos del ‘Brexit’.

La visita de Cameron tiene lugar apenas unos días después de que el tema de Gibraltar fuese tratado en el Comité de Descolonización de Naciones Unidas, ante el que Picardo acusó a España de realizar un «chantaje político» de cara a la posibilidad de que se apruebe el ‘Brexit’ en el referéndum del 23 de junio.

English: The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, David Cameron, travels Thursday to Gibraltar to participate in an act in favor of the continuity of the country in the European Union. This is the first visit to the Rock of a head of British government since 1968.

Cameron participates in a ceremony at five in the afternoon by the Gibraltarian Chief Minister Fabian Picardo, who has repeatedly warned of the risks of ‘Brexit’.

Cameron’s visit only takes place a few days after the issue of Gibraltar be treated in the Decolonization Committee of the United Nations, to which Picardo accused Spain of making a «political blackmail» facing the possibility of approval the ‘Brexit’ in the referendum on 23 June.
