Málaga 24h TV – Michelle Obama visitará España a finales de junio

La primera dama de Estados Unidos, Michelle Obama, realizará entre el 27 de junio y el 1 de julio una gira para promover la educación de las niñas que incluirá una parada en Madrid, apenas unos días antes de que su marido, Barack Obama, también realice una visita oficial a España.

La primera dama arrancará la gira en Liberia y Marruecos y previsiblemente llegará el día 29 a Madrid, donde un día más tarde pronunciará un discurso para promocionar la iniciativa ‘Let Girls Learn’ (‘Dejemos que las niñas aprendan’), con la que quiere involucrar tanto a gobiernos como a empresas privadas.

Michelle Obama «instará al público a valorar sus oportunidades educativas, continuar luchando por el progreso de las niñas y las mujeres y tomar medidas para ayudar a las 62 millones de niñas de todo el mundo que no van a la escuela», ha informado la oficina de la primera dama.
