Málaga 24h TV – Un total de 116 comercios de ocho segmentos, inscritos en ‘Málaga Cruise Shops’

Un total de 116 comercios de la zona de gran afluencia turística de la capital malagueña están inscritos a ‘Málaga Cruise Shops’, puesto en marcha por el Ayuntamiento a finales de 2013, y que reúne, actualmente, a ocho segmentos comerciales.

En concreto, se trata de los segmentos de accesorios complementos, alimentación, artesanía y regalos, belleza, cultura y ocio, moda calzado y deportes, servicios turísticos, tabaco y prensa. Además, los comercios adheridos al ‘Málaga Cruise Shops’ también participan en el proyecto tarjeta ‘Málaga Pass’, por lo que se consigue una mayor visibilidad para estos comercios.

El concejal de Turismo de Málaga, Julio Andrade, ha valorado este plan y ha recordado, además, que «los comercios que forman parte del proyecto están muy contentos y la mayoría se van sumando».

Por otro lado, ha destacado que el Área de Turismo puso en marcha este plan porque se buscaba «dar la imagen de que Málaga es una ciudad abierta y viva, pero no solamente en cuanto a cultura, a museos, u otros segmentos turísticos, sino también en compras».

El objetivo del plan, que se realiza bajo el paraguas de la marca ‘Málaga Shopping City’, es posicionar la ciudad como destino de turismo de compras; de modo que aquellos viajeros que lleguen puedan disfrutar de la oferta comercial y que, además, la apertura sea rentable para los propietarios, al estar garantizada la llegada de miles de personas esos días.

El ámbito de esta Zona de Gran Afluencia Turística es el espacio comprendido entre La Malagueta al este (hasta la calle Gutenberg), Armengual de la Mota y la avenida de la Aurora al oeste (hasta la calle Héroe De Sostoa), las calles Mármoles, Carretería y Victoria al norte y Muelle de Heredia y el puerto al sur.

On the other hand, it stressed that the Department of Tourism launched this plan because it sought to «give the impression that Málaga is an open and lively city, but not only in terms of culture, museums, and other tourist segments, but also on purchases. »

The aim of the plan, which is under the umbrella brand ‘Málaga Shopping City’, is to position the city as a shopping tourism destination; so that passengers arriving to enjoy the commercial offer and further, opening profitable for the owners, being guaranteed the arrival of thousands of people these days.
