Málaga 24h TV – Málaga capital registra su mejor mes de julio con más de 107.000 viajeros‪

El sector turístico de Málaga ha registrado este año «su mejor mes de julio», ya que en este periodo se alojaron en los hoteles de la capital un total de 107.488 viajeros, un 4,8 por ciento más que en el mismo periodo de 2015, según el informe de coyuntura del Instituto Nacional de Estadística.

Destaca «especialmente» el comportamiento de los mercados internacionales, según han apuntado desde el Ayuntamiento de Málaga, que crecieron un 19,6 por ciento, con más de 63.200 viajeros alojados, casi un 59% del total.

El grado de ocupación se situó en el 85,9 por ciento y la estancia media fue de 2,26 días.

Con estas cifras, entre enero y julio se han alojado ya en los hoteles de Málaga casi 670.000 viajeros, un 8,3 por ciento más que en 2015.

El concejal de Turismo y Promoción de la Ciudad del Consistorio malagueño, Julio Andrade, ha destacado «el excelente comportamiento» que está registrando Málaga, con incrementos «muy superiores a los de los grandes destinos turísticos del país».
Hungría, Lituania y Portugal han sido los mercados internacionales que más han crecido, mientras que británicos y alemanes siguen siendo, en términos absolutos, los mercados internacionales más importantes para la ciudad de Málaga.
