Málaga 24h TV – Andalucía recibe un 16% más de turistas internacionales en siete meses

Andalucía recibió un total de 6.027.164 turistas extranjeros en los primeros siete meses del año, lo que supone un 16 por ciento más que en el mismo periodo de 2015 y el 14,2 por ciento del total de turistas extranjeros que llegaron a España, lo que convierte a Andalucía en el cuarto destino principal en los datos acumulados, según datos de la Encuesta de Movimientos Turísticos en Frontera (Frontur) difundida este martes por el Instituto Nacional de Estadística.

El incremento registrado por la región es casi cinco puntos superior del nacional, que fue del 11,1 por ciento, tras haber recibido a más de 42,3 millones de viajeros en los primeros siete meses. En julio llegaron a Andalucía 1.218.079 turistas, un 10,9 por ciento más que en julio de 2015. El principal mercado emisor para la comunidad fue el británico, con el 30,1 por ciento del total, seguido de Francia (12 por ciento).

Por comunidades, Cataluña es el primer destino principal de los turistas en julio, con el 25,3 por ciento del total. Le siguen Baleares (24,7 por ciento del total) y Andalucía (el 12,7 por ciento).
