Málaga 24h TV – La Fiscalía pide juzgar a Sarkozy por el caso ‘Bygmalion’

La Fiscalía ha pedido juzgar al ex presidente francés Nicolas Sarkozy por el caso ‘Bygmalion’, en el que se investiga la supuesta financiación ilegal de la campaña presidencial de 2012.

Sarkozy, acusado de «financiación ilegal de la campaña electoral», es uno de los 14 investigados que el Ministerio Público ha recomendado sentar en el banquillo por ‘Bygmalion’.

La decisión corresponde ahora al juez instructor del caso, que deberá pronunciarse en un mes.

La autoridades francesas sospechan que a través de Bygmalion, empresa encargada de organizar los actos electorales de la ya extinta Unión por un Movimiento Popular (UMP) se emitieron una serie de facturas falsas destinadas a ocultar un exceso de gasto.

English: The prosecution has asked judge the former French President Nicolas Sarkozy for the case ‘Bygmalion’, in which the alleged illegal financing of the presidential campaign of 2012 is investigated.

Sarkozy accused of «illegal financing of the election campaign» is one of the 14 investigated that the prosecution has recommended sit on the bench for ‘Bygmalion’.

The decision is now up to the judge in the case, which must rule within one month.

The French authorities suspect through Bygmalion, the company responsible for organizing the electoral acts of the now defunct Union for a Popular Movement (UMP) a series of false invoices to conceal overspending were issued.
