Málaga 24h TV – El Supremo abre causa a Rita Barberá por el blanqueo

La Sala de lo Penal del Tribunal Supremo ha acordado este martes abrir causa contra la exalcaldesa de Valencia y senadora del PP, Rita Barberá, por la comisión de un presunto delito de blanqueo de capitales en el grupo municipal del PP en el Ayuntamiento de Valencia, en el marco de la Operación Taula derivada del caso Imelsa.

Se acoge así el criterio del Ministerio Público, que el pasado mes de julio solicitó por escrito al alto tribunal que designara un magistrado instructor del asunto.

Este mismo martes, el presidente de Ciudadanos, Albert Rivera, ha invitado al ministro en funciones de Justicia, Rafael Catalá, a leerse el pacto firmado por sus dos partidos contra la corrupción y que facilitó el acuerdo de investidura porque recoge que los políticos imputados deben dimitir, es decir, si lo es Rita Barberá tendrá que dejar el escaño en el Senado.

Y, como decimos, finalmente, el Supremo ha abierto causa contra ella por blanqueo de capitales.

Así se ha pronunciado Rivera en un desayuno informativo de Europa Press, a propósito de las declaraciones de este lunes del ministro en las que insiste en que las responsabilidades deben asumirse en el momento de ser procesado y no por estar investigado.
