Málaga 24h TV – El SEPRONA detuvo 414 personas en 2016 por delitos y faltas contra animales

El Servicio de Protección de la Naturaleza (SEPRONA) de la Guardia Civil ha detenido o investigado un total de 414 personas en lo que va de 2016 por delitos y faltas cometidos o infracciones penales contra los animales.

Según ha informado la Guardia Civil en el Día Mundial de los Animales, el SEPRONA ha constatado 27.778 infracciones administrativas relacionadas con los animales, entre las que destacan las infracciones a la normativa sobre caza y pesca (10.012), las infracciones a la normativa sobre animales de compañía (6.268), las infracciones a la normativa sobre sanidad animal y epizootias (6.118) y las infracciones a la normativa sobre animales peligrosos y razas caninas peligrosas (2.618).

El ámbito de actuación del trabajo del SEPRONA pasa por la erradicación del furtivismo, el tráfico ilegal de especies, maltrato de animales domésticos, uso ilegal de venenos o la degradación de ecosistemas, entre otros.

English: The Nature Protection Service (SEPRONA) of the Civil Guard has arrested or investigated a total of 414 people so far in 2016 for crimes and misdemeanors or criminal offenses committed against animals.

As reported by the Civil Guard in World Animal Day, the SEPRONA has found 27,778 administrative offenses related to animals, among which violations of the regulations on hunting and fishing (10,012), violations of regulations on animal company (6268), violations of the law, animal health and animal diseases (6,118) and violations of regulations on dangerous animals and dangerous breeds (2,618).

The scope of work SEPRONA passes through the eradication of poaching, illegal wildlife trafficking, abuse of pets, illegal use of poisons or degradation of ecosystems, among others.
