El secretario de Organización del PSOE de Málaga, Cristóbal Fernández, ha acusado este martes al coordinador provincial de Izquierda Unida, José Antonio Castro, «de llevar meses desestabilizando el gobierno municipal de Manilva y buscando la Alcaldía».

«Castro no ha jugado limpio en Manilva. Desde el principio ha ocultado sus verdaderas intenciones, que es hacerse con la Alcaldía», ha lamentado.

Fernández ha criticado que el dirigente de IU haya estado buscando «cualquier excusa» para romper el acuerdo entre PSOE e IU en el municipio, afirmando, en este sentido, que «no ha habido ningún interés por parte de Castro ni de IU por resolver esos supuestos problemas que había en el pacto de gobierno”.

«Castro y otros dirigentes de IU saben que desde la dirección provincial del PSOE se le ha dicho en multitud de ocasiones que siempre hemos estado dispuesto a sentarnos a hablar de Manilva», ha explicado Fernández a través de un comunicado.

En este punto, ha lamentado que «nunca han querido mantener una reunión de concejales y miembros de la dirección durante estos meses.
