El portavoz de la gestora del PSOE, Mario Jiménez, ha apostado este miércoles por mantener con el PSC relaciones «equilibradas, armónicas, compensadas y simétricas», y cree que ambos partidos tendrán que abordar sus relaciones con un diálogo «honesto, sincero y profundo».
En una entrevista en la Cadena Cope, recogida por Europa Press, Jiménez ha negado que la presidenta andaluza, Susana Díaz, quiera romper con el PSC. Es más, ha asegurado que siempre ha defendido lo contrario.
Sin embargo, sí cree que ambos partidos deben hablar «sin trauma» sobre sus relaciones orgánicas pero también sobre lo político, ante cuestiones como la definición de Cataluña como nación o el hecho de que el PSC se plantee una alianza con el partido de Ada Colau.
Ante la posibilidad de que el ex líder socialista Pedro Sánchez intente volver a ser secretario general, Jiménez ha respondido que será él quien tendrá que evaluar si es momento de «poner en marcha campañas personales o de trabajar para unir al partido y definir un nuevo proyecto».
