La ministra de Empleo y Seguridad Social, Fátima Báñez, ha afirmado que ve «posible» lograr el reto de llegar al año 2020 con 20 millones de personas trabajando en España, partiendo de que el objetivo del Gobierno que preside el popular Mariano Rajoy para esta legislatura es «el empleo y las oportunidades».

Báñez hizo este anuncio durante su intervención en una interparlamentaria del PP andaluz, celebrada en Córdoba bajo el título de ‘Un nuevo Gobierno para consolidar la recuperación’, y en el marco de un coloquio, dirigido por el presidente del PP-A, Juanma Moreno, con otros dos ministros andaluces del Gobierno de Mariano Rajoy, el nuevo titular de Interior y exalcalde de Sevilla, Juan Ignacio Zoido, y el ministro de Hacienda y Función Pública, Cristóbal Montoro.
