Málaga 24h TV – Iceta defiende la nación catalana dentro del Estado español

El primer secretario del PSC, Miquel Iceta, ha defendido este miércoles que Cataluña es una nación dentro del Estado español, donde reside la soberanía del conjunto de sus ciudadanos. Según ha dicho, su reivindicación es lograr el «máximo autogobierno posible en el marco del proyecto compartido que se llama España» y no la independencia, porque, ha recalcado, para su partido la nación «es sentimiento de identidad y de pertenencia», no «sujeto de soberanía».

Así se ha pronunciado el líder del PSC en un desayuno informativo organizado por Nueva Economía Fórum, al que han acudido dos miembros de la Gestora del PSOE, la extremeña Ascensión Godoy y el cántabro Ricardo Cortés, así como la secretaria general del PSOE de Madrid, Sara Hernández, y diputados y senadores catalanes.

Iceta ha comenzado su intervención explicando la posición del PSC para resolver «el problema de la relación entre Cataluña y el resto de España» y defendiendo que su proyecto pasa por representar «un catalanismo abierto e integrador, dialogante, pragmático y pactista, que rechaza tanto el inmovilismo como las iniciativas unilaterales que pretenden ignorar la legalidad».
