La Defensora del Pueblo cuestiona cómo los libros de texto explican ETA – Málaga 24h TV

Un estudio encargado por la Defensora del Pueblo, Soledad Becerril, cuestiona el tratamiento que se da al terrorismo de ETA en varios libros de Historia de España de 2º de Bachillerato y, por ello, pide que esta cuestión se aborde en el marco del futuro Pacto Nacional por la Educación.

En un informe sobre la situación actual de los derechos de las víctimas de la banda terrorista, recogido por Europa Press, la institución advierte de «la ausencia total de algún ejercicio de reflexión sobre las consecuencias sociales, políticas y personales de los atentados, secuestros o amenazas» cometidas por la organización terrorista.

Al constatar la «falta de precisión» que existe, la oficina del Defensor del Pueblo pide «fomentar el respeto y consideración a las víctimas de terrorismo» e incluir el rechazo a esta lacra «desde una óptica filosófica y moral» en el futuro pacto educativo y en los reales decretos por los que se establece el currículo básico de la ESO y el Bachillerato.
