España tiene que acoger en 2017 al 95% de los refugiados que pactó con la UE-Málaga24h

España ha acogido a 880 refugiados en 2016, la mayoría procedentes de Grecia e Italia (591) y el resto de campos de refugiados de Líbano y Turquía (289). En 2017, tiene que acoger a 16.439 personas para cumplir con el cupo asignado por la Comisión Europea.
En total, desde finales de 2015 han llegado a España 898 refugiados, es decir, el 5% de los 17.337 que el Gobierno de Mariano Rajoy se ha comprometido a atender tras el acuerdo europeo. La mayoría son reubicaciones de Grecia e Italia (609) y el resto reasentamientos (289) desde Turquía y Líbano.
Los primeros refugiados llegaron en noviembre y diciembre de 2015 (18) y hasta mayo de 2016 no aterrizaron los siguientes. Durante el pasado verano y el último trimestre del año vinieron a España en varios grupos, siendo el último y más numeroso –de 198 personas– el que aterrizó el pasado 28 de diciembre en Madrid.
En cuanto a la nacionalidad de los 898 refugiados, la mayoría son sirios (717), seguidos de iraquíes (117) y eritreos (64). También se ha acogido a una persona de República Centroafricana y a otra procedente de Irán.

Spain has accommodated 880 refugees in 2016, most of them from Greece and Italy (591) and the rest of refugee camps in Lebanon and Turkey (289). By 2017, it has to accommodate 16,439 people to meet the quota allocated by the European Commission.
In total, since the end of 2015 898 refugees have arrived in Spain, or 5% of the 17,337 that the Government of Mariano Rajoy has committed to attend after the European agreement. The majority are relocations from Greece and Italy (609) and the remaining resettlements (289) from Turkey and Lebanon.
The first refugees arrived in November and December 2015 (18) and until May 2016 the following did not land. During last summer and the last quarter of the year they came to Spain in several groups, being the last and most numerous – of 198 people – that landed last December 28 in Madrid.
As for the nationality of the 898 refugees, the majority are Syrians (717), followed by Iraqis (117) and Eritreans (64). A person from Central African Republic and another from Iran has also been invited.
