La Policía se incauta de 8.000 armas de guerras – Málaga 24h TV

La Policía Nacional ha desarticulado una organización criminal compuesta por cinco españoles y se ha incautado de 8.000 armas de guerra listas para su venta en el mercado negro internacional a otras organizaciones terroristas y de delincuencia organizada, según ha informado el Ministerio del Interior.

Los cinco integrantes de la red son cuatro hombres y una mujer españoles que han sido detenidos en Olot (Girona), Liendo (Cantabria) y Galdácano y Getxo (Vizcaya), donde tenían un taller «muy activo y sofisticado».

La operación, liderada por la Comisaría General de Información, ha permitido la localización por el momento de 8.000 armas de guerra, 29 armas largas, varias cortas, varios cañones y diversa munición de distinto calibre. En total se han llevado a cabo seis registros.

El grupo criminal compraba legalmente armas de guerra inutilizadas que posteriormente reactivaban y ponían a la venta en el mercado negro. Su actividad fundamental consistía en la adquisición de las armas a través de cauces legalmente establecidos, para posteriormente adquirir las piezas necesarias para su reactivación y ponerlas en circulación de manera ilegal.

Para no levantar sospechas ante las Fuerzas y Cuerpos de Seguridad, adquirían las armas empleando una empresa legal dedicada a la venta de material deportivo, pero que, sin embargo, carecía de la licencia necesaria para la venta de este tipo de componentes.

English: The National Police has dismantled a criminal organization made up of five Spaniards and seized 8,000 weapons of war ready for sale on the international black market to other terrorist and organized crime organizations, according to the Interior Ministry.

The five members of the network are four Spanish men and women who have been detained in Olot (Girona), Liendo (Cantabria) and Galdácano and Getxo (Vizcaya), where they had a «very active and sophisticated» workshop.

The operation, led by the General Information Office, has allowed for the location of 8,000 weapons of war, 29 long weapons, several short weapons, several guns and various ammunition of different caliber. In all, six records have been carried out.

The criminal group legally bought unused weapons of war that later reactivated and put on sale in the black market. Its fundamental activity consisted in the acquisition of the arms through legally established channels, to later acquire the necessary parts for its reactivation and to put them in circulation of illegal way.

In order not to raise suspicions before the Forces and Security Corps, they acquired the weapons using a legal company dedicated to the sale of sports equipment, but which, however, lacked the necessary license for the sale of this type of components.
