Rajoy: “No voy a autorizar ningún referéndum para liquidar la unidad de España” – Málaga 24h TV

El presidente del Gobierno Mariano Rajoy ha aprovechado su comparecencia conjunta en la Moncloa con el primer ministro irlandés, Enda Kenny, para reafirmar la rotunda negativa a permitir la consulta soberanista que el presidente catalán, Carles Puigdemont, quiere convocar en septiembre.

Rajoy ha sido contundente: “No voy a autorizar ningún referéndum para liquidar la unidad de España”.

No lo va a hacer, según ha dicho, porque no puede hacerlo, dado que la Constitución establece que el depositario de la soberanía es el pueblo español, y porque no cree que sea una solución para el problema catalán.
Una negativa, ha matizado, que no debe impedir el diálogo entre ambas administraciones. “No habrá referéndum pero a partir de ahí podemos hablar de todo”, ha subrayado.

Rajoy ha señalado que si el presidente de la Generalitat asume este planteamiento, está dispuesto a reunirse con él y no habrá “problemas” para fijar la fecha del encuentro.
