La Policía Nacional desarticula un grupo con un arsenal de armas de guerra-Málaga24h

Agentes de la Policía Nacional se han incautado de un fusil de asalto tipo AK, dos subfusiles ametralladores, cuatro rifles, una escopeta de cañones recortados, una escopeta repetidora, 3 pistolas -una del calibre 45 con silenciador-, un revólver calibre 357, gran cantidad de munición de diferentes calibres, cargadores, chalecos antibala y armas blancas. Este arsenal pertenecía a un grupo formado por individuos de nacionalidades española y marroquí, y estaba destinado al tráfico ilícito. En la operación han sido arrestadas seis personas y se han practicado cinco registros en el área de Barcelona.

Las investigaciones se iniciaron en 2016 cuando se detectó a un grupo liderado por individuo de origen marroquí, residente en la periferia de Barcelona, sobre el que recaían sospechas de liderar una organización criminal dedicada al tráfico de armas de fuego. Las primeras indagaciones determinaron que los investigados desarrollaban su actividad en las localidades de Castelldefels, Mataró y Barcelona.
Conforme avanzaron las pesquisas se hallaron indicios que apuntaban a que los investigados suministraban armas a otros grupos y organizaciones criminales. El control permanente al que fueron sometidos permitió detectar a finales del pasado año la celebración de varias reuniones que mantuvieron en Barcelona. En el mes de diciembre se comprobó un aumento significativo de su actividad y la realización de un viaje a Noruega por parte del máximo responsable de la organización -un ciudadano marroquí-.

In the month of December a significant increase of his activity and the realization of a trip to Norway by the maximum person in charge of the organization – a Moroccan citizen – was verified.
