Coín acogerá el Adidas Next Generation de baloncesto – Málaga 24h TV

El municipio de Coín, Villa Europea del Deporte 2017, se convertirá del 10 al 12 de febrero en la capital del baloncesto de cantera al ser una de las cuatro sedes de la decimocuarta edición del torneo de baloncesto Adidas Next Generation, un campeonato para equipos júnior considerado como la Euroliga de la categoría.
Así lo dio a conocer el diputado de Educación, Deportes y Juventud, Cristóbal Ortega, junto al alcalde de Coín, Fernando Fernández, el presidente de Unicaja Baloncesto, Eduardo García, y el jugador Alberto Díaz.

El torneo Adidas Next Generation es una competición organizada por la Euroliga de baloncesto.

Coín y L’Hospitalet en España, Kaunas en Lituania, y Belgrado en Serbia, son las sedes elegidas para acoger los encuentros de esta edición.
El viernes 10 de febrero, Darussafaka Dogus de Estambul se enfrentará con Estudiantes Madrid; Unicaja Málaga con Future Stars Praga; Cibona Zágreb con Bayern Munich; y Real Betis se medirá con el campeón de la pasada edición, Real Madrid.

El sábado 11, los cuatro vencedores de la jornada anterior se enfrentarán en la semifinal, de donde saldrán los dos equipos finalistas que se medirán el domingo 12 de febrero por un puesto en la final de Estambul.
