A year and a half later, the municipalities affected by the storms of September and October of 2015 continue without receiving the aid by the damages produced in infrastructures, equipment and facilities.

And the Government itself acknowledges that it has not yet approved the granting of such aid.

For this reason, the general secretary of the PSOE of Malaga Miguel Angel Heredia has announced that he will present a battery of initiatives in the Congress of Deputies to pay compensation already, and not only those of 2015, but those of 2012 and that A payment schedule is established for those of the 2016 storm.

According to Heredia, «the government has to pay the 6.4 million euros it promised for the damage caused by the storms of 2015. It has been a year and a half since the destruction occurred and have not moved a finger. Now they no longer have the excuse that they are in office, so it seems that it is nothing more than a lack of political will to grant such aid.

The socialist leader has lamented that if for the damages of the storm of September and October of 2015, the Government of Rajoy has not yet made available to the municipalities the aid, much is feared that in the case of the storm of December of 2016, that left To more than 6,000 people affected and caused damages for more than 25 million euros, we will have to wait for this step to 2020.
