The investigation began in June of last year, when agents identified a group of people who could engage in large-scale hashish traffic and use a so-called trawler fishery based on the Sanlúcar fishing pier Of Barrameda, for the introduction of large quantities of narcotics.

The members of the organization allegedly collected the drug on the high seas in the course of their outings to fish, returning to the dock of Bonanza after their fishing day. The remaining members of the organization remained on the ground doing counter-vigilance work to ensure that there was no one on the pier who could discover their activities.

After the dock of the boat at the dock, a refrigerated truck was approaching and the discharge began, 80 bales of hashish wrapped in burlap sacks that quickly passed from the trawler to the truck supported by almost a dozen porters. Once the cargo was in the truck, it was going to the nurseries that the organization had rented in the Cadiz town of Chiclana de la Frontera.
