Muelle Uno crece pero aún pierde dinero – Málaga 24h TV

El centro comercial Muelle Uno se consolida como imán de visitantes para el recinto portuario, aunque las cifras señalan que todavía no es rentable.

En 2015 (último ejercicio disponible) se contabilizaron pérdidas por valor de más de dos millones de euros, la mitad que el año anterior, según los datos depositados por la propiedad en el registro mercantil.
Las cifras contrastan con el incremento del número de visitas, que rozan los diez millones al año, y con el tirón para las principales marcas que explotan los locales.

Entre las últimas aperturas cabe citar KFC o Burger King. Según la Autoridad Portuaria, los ingresos del Muelle Uno, de la noria y del resto de elementos de la operación Puerto-Ciudad suponen el 14,5% del total del Puerto. Se espera que sigan creciendo, ya que se trata de un capítulo mucho más estable que el de los tráficos de mercancías o pasajeros, marcados por la inestabilidad. De hecho, no se renuncia al otro gran proyecto para implantar otra área comercial, en este caso en el Muelle de Heredia.
