El ciudadano sueco que este martes robó un camión de butano y condujo temerariamente por el centro de Barcelona había estado toda la noche de fiesta gastando mucho dinero, tenía «sintomatología alterada» por eso y no planificó robar el vehículo sino que decidió cogerlo al encontrárselo con las llaves puestas.

Así lo ha explicado este miércoles el conseller de Interior de la Generalitat, Jordi Jané, en una rueda de prensa acompañado del director de los Mossos d’Esquadra, Albert Batlle; el comisario jefe, Josep Lluís Trapero, y el comisario de la Regió Metropolitana, Joan Carles Molinero.

El hombre había estado de fiesta toda la noche en la capital catalana con otros suecos y no volvió al hotel a dormir donde tenía su equipaje, lugar donde se subió al camión de butano después de haber intentado parar otros coches y robar una moto.

El conseller ha insistido en que, cuanta más información tienen los Mossos, más seguros están de que no había un móvil terrorista, y ha añadido que no había hecho ninguna proclama ni nada que les haga pensar en un intento de atentado.
