Aturdida, consigue escapar a duras penas.

The intense rains continue without truce in the central regions of Peru and are generating really dramatic scenes. Most of them caused by mud floods and floods.

Here they see how a trucker is rescued in extremis, in the last second before the mud swallows it. As you can see, a group of people who saw the landslide from a high area run down the hill to get the driver out of the truck that had managed to leave after being stranded fortunately a few moments, just before being swallowed by the flood.

Such situations have been lived frequently in the last days, as this one in which a woman tries to leave among the rubble in a mud avalanche. Stunned, she barely escapes. To date, there have been at least 62 deaths and 11 missing persons and more than 62,000 victims.

Experts indicate that this atmospheric behavior is a consequence of the ‘El Niño’ phenomenon, which stands out for a remarkable thermal rise during the rainy season. They also warn that this rainy season will last until April.
