Homs, condenado a 1 año y un mes de inhabilitación para ejercer cargos públicos – Málaga 24h TV

El Tribunal Supremo ha condenado este miércoles a un año y un mes de inhabilitación especial para el ejercicio de cargos públicos electivos y de funciones de gobierno al exconsejero de Presidencia catalán Francesc Homs por un delito de desobediencia grave en la consulta del 9-N, que se celebró pese a que había sido suspendida cinco días antes por el Tribunal Constitucional.

La Sala de lo Penal ha impuesto también al ahora diputado del PDECat una multa de 30.000 euros. La sentencia le absuelve del delito de prevaricación administrativa del que le acusaba el fiscal. El Supremo entiende que este delito queda absorbido en el de desobediencia.

El criterio de los magistrados del Supremo coincide con el del Tribunal Superior de Justicia de Cataluña, que el pasado 13 de marzo condenó al expresidente Artur Mas y a las exconsejeras Irene Rigau y Joana Ortega por el mismo delito y les absolvió de la prevaricación, del que también les acusaba el Ministerio Público.
