Carmen Cervera: “Los cuadros de Málaga no los pienso tocar” – Málaga 24h TV

La polémica entre la baronesa Carmen Thyssen y el Gobierno español a cuenta de la continuidad de su colección en el Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza de Madrid ha terminado salpicando a la pinacoteca en Málaga.
El grupo municipal socialista presentó este lunes una moción en la Comisión de Cultura del Ayuntamiento de Málaga en la que se instaba a incluir una cláusula indemnizatoria para la ciudad en caso de que la coleccionista decidiera retirar sus fondos del Museo Carmen Thyssen de la capital.
Una iniciativa que la propia baronesa quiso contestar con una frase rotunda: “Los cuadros de Málaga no los piensa tocar”.
En una entrevista exclusiva con Diario SUR, la baronesa ha dicho que de Málaga no va a sacar obra alguna y ha querido desvincular el centro expositivo que lleva su nombre de la disputa con el Gobierno central.
Respecto al conflicto en Madrid, ha reconocido que el acuerdo «todavía no se ha producido, pero se llegará a un entendimiento» con el Ministerio de Cultura.

The socialist municipal group presented a motion Monday in the Committee of Culture of the City of Malaga in which it was urged to include an indemnity clause for the city in case the collector decided to withdraw its funds from the Carmen Thyssen Museum of the capital.
An initiative that the Baroness herself wanted to answer with a resounding phrase: «The pictures of Malaga do not think to touch.»
In an exclusive interview with Diario SUR, the Baroness has said that Malaga will not take any work and wanted to unlink the exhibition center that bears its name from the dispute with the central government.
Regarding the conflict in Madrid, he acknowledged that the agreement «has not yet occurred, but will come to an understanding» with the Ministry of Culture.
