La Diputación de Málaga destinará 410.000 en Cooperación Internacional durante 2017

La Diputación de Málaga destinará en el año 2017 un total de 410.000 euros a proyectos de Cooperación Internacional, gracias a una nueva convocatoria de subvenciones destinadas a Organizaciones No Gubernamentales de Desarrollo de la provincia para proyectos de desarrollo, ayuda humanitaria y sensibilización y educación para el desarrollo; así como a una nueva edición del Premio Provincial de Solidaridad Internacional y Derechos Humanos.

Así lo ha dado a conocer este viernes la vicepresidenta y diputada de Igualdad e Innovación Social, Ana Mata, acompañada del diputado de Participación Ciudadana y Cooperación Internacional, Félix Lozano. Mata ha recordado que uno de los objetivos de la Diputación en esta nueva legislatura es «contribuir a proyectos que están realizando asociaciones y entidades de la provincia fuera del territorio español con una partida presupuestaria específica dirigida a cooperación internacional».

Por su parte, Lozano ha destacado «el gran esfuerzo que ha hecho la Diputación este año aumentando la partida para cooperación internacional en 100.000 euros», donde ya hay dotados 400.000. Esta iniciativa se pone en marcha por segundo año consecutivo y que en 2016 permitió subvencionar 19 proyectos de 41 de estas organizaciones.

Por otra parte, Mata y Lozano han anunciado una nueva edición del Premio Provincial Internacional de Solidaridad Internacional y Derechos Humanos 2017, que va dirigido a entidades privadas sin ánimo de lucro o iniciativas que se hayan distinguido por su apoyo a la lucha contra la pobreza y la solidaridad con las personas necesitadas del mundo. El premio estará valorado en 10.000 euros.

On the other hand, Mata and Lozano have announced a new edition of the International Provincial Prize for International Solidarity and Human Rights 2017, which is aimed at non-profit private entities or initiatives that have distinguished themselves by their support for the fight against poverty and Solidarity with the needy people of the world. The prize will be valued at 10,000 euros.
