Trump se declara «bajo asedio» y dice que «vencerá» en pleno escándalo por el caso Comey

El presidente de Estados Unidos, Donald Trump, ha asegurado que se encuentra «bajo asedio», si bien se ha mostrado convencido de que «vencerá», en un discurso que ha pronunciado mientras el ex director del FBI James Comey declaraba ante la Comisión de Inteligencia del Senado por la supuesta obstrucción a la justicia del magnate neoyorquino.

Aunque no ha mencionado en ningún momento a Comey, sus palabras ante la Coalición para la Libertad y la Fe han sido interpretadas por la prensa estadounidense como un alegato en primera persona para defenderse de la acusación por obstrucción a la justicia que se cocina en el Congreso y que busca fundamento en el testimonio de Comey.

Comey ha rehusado determinar si Trump dificultó las pesquisas del FBI sobre la injerencia rusa en las elecciones presidenciales pero ha indicado que el jefe de Estado le pidió que abandonara la investigación contra su entonces asesor de Seguridad Nacional, Michael Flynn.
