PSOE pide a Fomento que explique y solucione las cancelaciones del Cercanías de Málaga

El secretario general del grupo parlamentario socialista en el Congreso y del PSOE de Málaga, Miguel Ángel Heredia, ha afirmado que la formación ha solicitado en la Cámara baja la comparecencia urgente del ministro de Fomento, Íñigo de la Serna, para que explique las causas de las cancelaciones de la línea C1 de Cercanías que conecta Málaga capital con Fuengirola y para que «ponga soluciones de forma inmediata».

Heredia, acompañado de la diputada nacional del PSOE Begoña Tundidor y la parlamentaria andaluza socialista Beatriz Rubiño, ha advertido que los sindicatos ferroviarios «plantean que puede haber cancelaciones no solo en la C1 de Fuengirola, sino en la C2, que comunica la capital con Álora».
Además, Heredia ha señalado que el trayecto C1 de Fuengirola es «la cuarta línea en número de viajeros por detrás de Madrid, Barcelona y Valencia», detallando que transporta a unos once millones de pasajeros al año; y ha agregado que es la línea más rentable en nuestro país.
Por ello, ha calificado como «intolerable» e «incomprensible» estas cancelaciones de trayectos «porque daña la imagen turística a nivel nacional e internacional».

Al tiempo, Heredia ha criticado el «desinterés» del Gobierno de Rajoy en Málaga con los Presupuestos Generales del Estado pero también en materia ferroviaria, poniendo como ejemplo que la prolongación de la línea C1 de Cercanías hasta Estepona y Marbella cuenta con una inversión de menos 272.000 euros, lo cual supone una «cantidad ridícula a todas luces» según el dirigente socialista.
