Bendodo destaca la oferta turística de interior

La mayoría de los alcaldes de la provincia se encuentran estos días en la Fería Internacional de Turismo FITUR en Madrid, para presentar las novedades y datos turisticos de la provincia. El presidente de Turismo Costa del Sol, Elías Bendodo, ha destacado la oferta turística de interior de la provincia de Málaga es «una de las fortalezas» de la Costa del Sol que «en pocos años» se ha convertido como «una de las referencias de turismo interior a escala nacional y también internacional. Junto al alcalde de Málaga han dado a conocer que este año la Vuelta Ciclista a España empezará desde el Centro Pompidu de la capital.

Madrid acoge una de las citas más importantes para el turismo mundial, La Feria Internacional de Turismo (Fitur). El presidente de la Diputación y de Turismo Costa del Sol, Elías Bendodo, junto con el alcalde de la ciudad, Francisco de la Torre y el director general de La Vuelta, Javier Guillén, han dado a conocer que este año la Vuelta Ciclista a España es la más malagueña de la historia. La carrera partirá desde el Centro Pompidu.

Bendodo también ha dado a conocer la importancia del turismo de interior para la Costa del Sol. En 2017 más de un 1.101.000 turistas eligieron el interior de la provincia. Hubo un aumento del 40 por ciento en alojamientos rurales y un 50 por ciento en pernoctaciones.

Fitur también ha sido el escenario para la presentación del proyecto Cicerones Rurales, puesto en marcha por el Club Gastronómico Kilómetro Cero, con 15 rutas que muestran la riqueza paisajística y gastronómica de la provincia de Málaga de la mano de guías locales.

Otras de las noticias de Fitur es que Málaga será del 25 de junio al 7 de julio de 2018 capital mundial del flamenco. Una gran cita anual que ya es un referente en el mundo y que está dirigida a aficionados y profesionales de este arte.
