El PSOE reivindica la figura de Gerald Brenan en el 31 aniversario de su fallecimiento

Representantes socialistas de la Diputación Provincial de Málaga, el Ayuntamiento de Málaga y el Ayuntamiento de Alhaurín el Grande han reivindicado este viernes la figura de Gerald Brenan en el 31 aniversario de su fallecimiento.

En un acto conjunto celebrado en el Cementerio Inglés de la capital, el portavoz socialista en la Diputación, Francisco Conejo, ha asegurado que desde el PSOE van a insistir para que la Diputación de Málaga firme un convenio con el Ayuntamiento de Málaga y con el de Alhaurín el Grande para potenciar las actividades Fundación Gerald Brenan.

Por su parte, el portavoz socialista en el Ayuntamiento de Málaga, Daniel Pérez, ha destacado que con este acto conjunto el PSOE pone en valor la figura de Gerald Brenan, una figura que está relacionada con Alhaurín el Grande y Churriana, donde también tuvo su casa y donde tiene un lugar de espacio donde se divulga su obra.
