Francisco Conejo propone el nombramiento de Bernardo de Gálvez como Hijo Predilecto a título póstumo

El grupo socialista en la Diputación Provincial de Málaga ha propuesto al pleno de la institución el nombramiento de Bernardo de Gálvez como Hijo Predilecto de la provincia de Málaga a título póstumo.

Así lo ha adelantado este viernes el presidente y portavoz del grupo del PSOE, Francisco Conejo, en una visita al Museo de los Gálvez junto al alcalde de Macharaviaya, Antonio Campos, y a los diputados provinciales Antonio Yuste y Luis Guerrero.

Conejo ha anunciado que el PSOE ha registrado una moción para su debate en el pleno que se celebra el martes instando al equipo de gobierno del PP en la Diputación a iniciar la incoación del expediente para este nombramiento de Bernardo de Gálvez como Hijo Predilecto.

El portavoz socialista considera que “la dimensión internacional de Bernardo de Gálvez requiere el reconocimiento de la institución provincial”.

Conejo ha recordado que en el año 2011 los socialistas plantearon a la Diputación Provincial este reconocimiento y que en 2012 volvieron a insistir en la necesidad de nombrar a Bernardo de Gálvez como Hijo Predilecto a título póstumo”.

Según sus palabras, en ambas ocasiones, el PP decidió no reconocer a Bernardo de Gálvez como Hijo Predilecto a título póstumo aludiendo que la Diputación Provincial no iba a reconocer a ningún ilustre malagueño ya fallecido, pese a que hay 10 reconocimientos así en el ente.
