El juez deja a Mas libre sin fianza tras declarar aunque le pide que esté disponible

El magistrado del Tribunal Supremo Pablo Llarena no ha acordado ninguna medida cautelar contra el expresidente de la Generalitat de Cataluña y expresidente del PDeCAT Artur Mas tras la declaración de tres horas que éste ha prestado por su implicación en el ‘procés’.

Fuentes jurídicas han señalado que le ha preguntado si estará a disposición del alto tribunal siempre que se le convoque, a lo que el exmandatario ha contestado afirmativamente.

La decisión se adopta pese a que la acusación popular, ejercida por el partido Vox había solicitado que se le impusiera una fianza de al menos 60.000 euros para evitar la prisión, además de comparecencias quincenales ante un juez y retirada de pasaporte.

Mas ha sido incluido entre los investigados por el instructor del proceso, Pablo Llarena, por los cargos que ejerció como presidente del partido y porque formaba parte del comité estratégico del proceso soberanista catalán diseñado en el documento ‘Enfocats’.

Inicialmente, el expresidente es investigado por presuntos delitos de rebelión, sedición y malversación de fondos públicos.
