Presentación del I Foro Mar de Alborán

El I Foro Mar de Alborán reunirá personalidades del ámbito científico, 12 estrellas Michelin y expertos de distintos campos, quienes analizarán desde el 13 al 16 de septiembre la preocupación creciente por la sostenibilidad de nuestros mares.

Este evento, que tendrá lugar en el Palacio de la Paz de Fuengirola, ha sido organizado por el Ayuntamiento de Fuengirola, con el patrocinio de Turismo Costa del Sol y la colaboración de un gran número de entidades.

El acto de presentación, que ha tenido lugar este jueves en la sede de Turismo Costa del Sol, ha contado con la participación del director general de la entidad, Arturo Bernal; el miembro del Comité de Organización y presidente de Gastroarte, Fernando Rueda; el coordinador del encuentro de Universidades Alboránicas, Andrés Alcántara; o el vicerrector de Investigación y Transferencia de la Universidad de Málaga, Teodomiro López, entre otras personalidades.

El director general de Turismo Costa del Sol ha señalado que “desde esta entidad se ha querido mostrar desde el primer momento todo el apoyo a esta iniciativa que situará a Fuengirola y al destino en general en lo más alto del panorama científico y gastronómico del país y que, además, supondrá una importante promoción tanto a nivel nacional como internacional”.

Este foro será lugar de encuentro entre científicos de España, Marruecos y Argelia; los tres países que delimitan el mar de Alborán, además, se darán cita a lo largo de esos días especialistas de gran prestigio en el campo nutricional y con una excelente trayectoria internacional.

El objetivo principal de este Foro es dejar patente la preocupación creciente por la sostenibilidad de nuestros mares, su degradación, los recursos explotados y la pesca ilegal, así como los ecosistemas marinos y el medio ambiente.

The I Mar de Alborán Forum will bring together scientific personalities, 12 Michelin stars and experts from different fields, who will analyze from September 13 to 16 the growing concern for the sustainability of our seas.

This event, which will take place in the Peace Palace of Fuengirola, has been organized by the City of Fuengirola, with the sponsorship of Turismo Costa del Sol and the collaboration of a large number of entities.

The presentation ceremony, which took place this Thursday at the headquarters of Tourism Costa del Sol, has had the participation of the director general of the entity, Arturo Bernal; the member of the Organization Committee and president of Gastroarte, Fernando Rueda; the coordinator of the meeting of Alboránicas Universities, Andrés Alcántara; or the Vice Chancellor for Research and Transfer of the University of Málaga, Teodomiro López, among other personalities.

This forum will be a meeting place between scientists from Spain, Morocco and Algeria; the three countries that delimit the Alboran Sea, will also meet during these days specialists of great prestige in the nutritional field and with an excellent international trajectory.

The main objective of this Forum is to make clear the growing concern for the sustainability of our seas, their degradation, exploited resources and illegal fishing, as well as marine ecosystems and the environment.
