Medel: IFA «nunca aprobó» el convenio marco para concesión de ayudas de los ERE

Braulio Medél, vocal entre los años 1987 y 2008 del Consejo Rector del Instituto de Fomento de Andalucía, posterior Agencia IDEA, señaló este lunes que este órgano «nunca aprobó ni ratificó» el convenio marco firmado en julio de 2001 entre la Consejería de Empleo y el instituto por el que el ente instrumental pagaba las ayudas sociolaborales a trabajadores y directas a empresas en crisis concedidas por la Dirección General de Trabajo con fondos con cargo al programa presupuestario 31L.

El expresidente de Unicaja Banco declaró como testigo este lunes en el juicio que celebra la Sección Primera de la Audiencia Provincial de Sevilla contra 22 ex altos cargos de la Junta por el caso de los ERE.

Medel, que ha aclarado que su participación en el Consejo Rector fue de «muy poca y baja intensidad» porque «no tenía tiempo» y le quedaba «lejos» de sus preocupaciones, ha afirmado que su actividad en IFA/IDEA era «secundaria», además fue «decreciente» y en su última etapa «más bien simbólica», precisando que en los últimos ocho años asistió a cuatro sesiones del Consejo Rector, órgano que tenía que aprobar el pago de las ayudas sociolaborales.

El testigo aseguró que el Consejo Rector «no conoció el convenio marco», al menos en las reuniones a las que asistió ni en los documentos que se le trasladó.
