The coordinator of IU in Andalusia Antonio Maíllo and the general coordinator of Podemos in Andalusia Teresa Rodriguez meet with workers in the hospitality industry in Malaga to show their support for the mobilizations scheduled for this summer by the sector. The negotiation table of the collective agreement is paralyzed and if there is no type of approach by the employers, the workers will go on strike.

From Izquierda Unida they have it clear

The hospitality sector in Malaga lives one of its best years but it is not reflected in the working conditions of the workers. It has been tried without managing to negotiate with the employer a new agreement of the sector.

The president of Aehcos, Luis Callejon says that the workers of Malaga have the best agreement in force in Spain. Despite this, workers are clear that they will not lose rights that they have already achieved

This Friday, the assembly of delegates will meet again to ratify the mobilization calendar.

The workers know the damage they will do with the strike since the forecast is that this summer will be one of the best at an economic level but they will not accept any bluff from the employers

The unions are asking for a wage increase of 16% in four years. This together with the outsourcing of services are the main obstacles that have paralyzed the negotiations between employers and workers
