TSJA recuerda a Alaya que un juez debe promover «respeto y confianza» en el Poder Judicial

El Tribunal Superior de Justicia de Andalucía llama la atención a la magistrada Mercedes Alaya por las manifestaciones realizadas en una entrevista. En un acta de la reunión de jueces de Instrucción se recoge el profundo malestar por las declaraciones de Alaya y ponen de manifiesto que es obligación de todo juez promover en la sociedad una actitud de «respeto y confianza» en el Poder Judicial, sugiriendo a la magistrada actuar de manera «prudente, moderada y respetuosa con todos los poderes del Estado».

Y es que en el acta de la reunión de jueces de Instrucción de Sevilla del pasado 24 de mayo se expresa el profundo malestar y rechazo a las manifestaciones públicas realizadas por Alaya, que, a juicio de los instructores, ponen en entredicho, sin ningún motivo, la capacidad y profesionalidad de sus compañeros, principalmente de quienes realizaron funciones de refuerzo en el Juzgado de Instrucción número 6 cuando ella era titular e investigaba la causa de los ERE fraudulentos.

La Sala de Gobierno ha tomado conocimiento del escrito de queja elevado a la misma por el ex interventor general de la Junta Manuel Gómez Martínez, que actualmente está siendo juzgado por el caso de los ERE,en el que se muestra ofendido y perjudicado y considera erradas y desafortunadas las manifestaciones de Alaya porque podrían crear un estado de opinión y condicionar al tribunal sentenciador de un asunto que ha sido instruido por la propia juez.
