La ONG Proactiva Open Arms, cuyo barco ha venido operando en el Mediterráneo, rescatará migrantes en aguas del Estrecho de Gibraltar y el Mar de Alborán bajo coordinación de Salvamento Marítimo.

Proactiva Open Arms nació de un grupo de socorristas que se trasladaron a Lesbos en el año 2015 para colaborar con el rescate de los miles de refugiados que cruzaban a diario en embarcaciones precarias desde Turquía a Grecia.
