Preparación del nuevo encuentro de los líderes de Corea

Una representación política de Corea del Sur viajará la próxima semana a Corea del Norte para ultimar los preparativos de una nueva reunión bilateral entre los principales líderes políticos de los dos países vecinos. El inicio de la visita está previsto para el 5 de septiembre, aunque Seúl no ha aclarado su duración. La petición para el viaje del enviado especial ha sido autorizada por Pyongyang en cuestión de horas. Entre los asuntos a debatir figuran los avances en la desnuclearización y la estabilización de la península y también una «fecha específica» para la reunión entre el presidente surcoreano, Moon Jae In, y el dirigente norcoreano, Kim Jong Un. De concretarse, sería el tercer encuentro entre ambos tras los mantenidos en la zona desmilitarizada en abril y mayo.

A political representative from South Korea will travel to North Korea next week to finalize preparations for a new bilateral meeting between the main political leaders of the two neighboring countries. The start of the visit is scheduled for September 5, although Seoul has not clarified its duration.
